  • Bangladesh is experiencing its worst flood in 25 years. More than 1/3 of the country is under water. Thirteen million people are affected; 5.7 million are displaced. 134 have lost their lives, 10,583 hectres of crops, 468,609 hectres of farmland  and, 531,941 houses damaged. There is no dry land to bury the dead.
